1:30pm - 3:30pm

Lecture by:
Ken Shonk

In this presentation, I will briefly outline what scientists have discovered about laughter, play and joy over the last decades, including the physiology, anatomy, biochemistry and classification with many examples from my patients who have willingly shared with me over 50 years of family medical practice. Through anecdotal stories, I will also outline several ways to bring more of these positive emotions into our own lives and those whom you care about.

There ain’t much fun in medicine, but there is a lot of medicine in fun.
