
Third Age Learning K-W is pleased to take part in the Creative Aging Expo at the Waterloo Public Library’s John M. Harper Branch on October 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Expo provides an opportunity to explore the power of creativity and connection for older adults. Organizations from across the Region, including Third Age Learning K-W, will gather to showcase programs, services, and opportunities that support artistic exploration, lifelong learning, and community engagement.

Fall Lecture Series: Eras of Turmoil: 1960s and Now
Third Age Learning K-W will distribute flyers about the Fall lecture series, Eras of Turmoil: 1960s and Now, to be held every Tuesday from October 13 to December 1.
These presentations will feature educators, historians, researchers, and a musician exploring topics such as:
- The Vietnam War
- Quebec separatism
- Women’s struggle for equality
- The environmental movement
- The struggle for civil rights
- Indigenous resurgence
- The Cold War
- Rock and roll

About Third Age Learning Kitchener-Waterloo
For more than 35 years, Third Age Learning Kitchener-Waterloo (TAL-KW) has been helping Waterloo Region retirees make the most of their “third age” of life by offering a venue for some of the top researchers, academics, and thinkers in our country to share their knowledge.
This non-profit, volunteer-led operation organizes lecture series that attract hundreds of participants from the wider community. The gatherings provide intellectually stimulating content and opportunities for social connections.
